Homelo operates an SMS text messaging program to communicate with homeowners and real estate agents who use our Services across homelo.ai, pro.homelo.ai, and app.homelo.ai. This section provides detailed information about our text messaging practices, your rights, and how to manage your messaging preferences.

4.1 Description of SMS Messaging Program

Our SMS messaging program consists of both transactional messages and marketing messages:

Transactional Messages include:

  • Phone Verification (OTP): When a homeowner submits their property address on homelo.ai to receive a home value estimate, we send a one-time verification code via SMS to confirm the phone number is valid before sharing their information with any agent.
  • Agent Account Notifications: Licensed real estate agents who subscribe via pro.homelo.ai and manage their account through app.homelo.ai receive automated SMS notifications when new exclusive seller leads are assigned to their account, when their prepaid wallet balance falls below a configured threshold, and when payment transactions are successfully processed.
  • Appointment Reminders: SMS reminders about scheduled appointments or consultations arranged through our platform.
  • Customer Support Responses: Replies to questions or support requests submitted via SMS or other channels.
  • Payment Reminders and Receipts: Notifications about upcoming payments, failed payment attempts, successful processing, and digital receipts for transactions on app.homelo.ai.

Marketing Messages (with your express written consent) include:

  • Re-engagement messages for users who have not recently been active on homelo.ai, pro.homelo.ai, or app.homelo.ai.
  • Service updates and announcements about new features or market areas available through our platforms.

Marketing messages are sent at a frequency of up to eight (8) messages per month. Transactional message frequency varies based on your individual account activity across our platforms.

Homelo only sends SMS text messages to users who have provided express written consent. SMS consent may be collected through any of our three websites:

  • homelo.ai — homeowners who submit their property address to receive a home value estimate may consent to receive service and/or marketing texts by checking the clearly labeled, unchecked consent boxes on the submission form.
  • pro.homelo.ai — real estate agents and brokerages who apply for access to our exclusive seller lead platform may consent to receive service and/or marketing texts by checking the clearly labeled, unchecked consent boxes on the application form.
  • app.homelo.ai — subscribed agents may update their messaging preferences through their account settings at any time.

In all cases, our consent checkboxes are never pre-checked. You must make an intentional decision to opt in. The consent language clearly states that message and data rates may apply and that consent is not required as a condition of purchase. Links to this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions are provided at the point of consent.

Voluntariness of Consent: Your consent to receive SMS messages is completely voluntary. You may leave consent checkboxes unchecked and still use our Services through other communication channels.

4.3 Critical Information About Your SMS Consent

YOUR SMS OPT-IN CONSENT IS NEVER SHARED WITH, SOLD TO, RENTED TO, OR OTHERWISE DISCLOSED TO ANY THIRD PARTIES FOR THEIR MARKETING PURPOSES.

When you provide consent to receive SMS messages from Homelo through homelo.ai, pro.homelo.ai, or app.homelo.ai, that consent remains exclusively with Homelo. We do not share, sell, rent, trade, or transfer your SMS opt-in consent to any third parties, including real estate agents, brokerages, marketing partners, or data brokers.

While we share certain contact information with real estate agents as part of delivering qualified seller leads, your specific consent to receive SMS messages from Homelo is maintained solely by Homelo and our authorized messaging service providers (GoHighLevel and Twilio). Real estate agents who receive your contact information through our lead distribution platform do not receive or inherit your SMS consent and must obtain separate, independent TCPA-compliant consent directly from you before sending any SMS messages.

GoHighLevel and Twilio act as our authorized agents for message transmission only and are contractually prohibited from using your information for any other purpose or sharing it with any other parties.

4.4 How to Opt Out of SMS Messages

You have the absolute right to opt out at any time using any of the following methods:

  • Text STOP: Reply with “STOP,” “STOPALL,” “UNSUBSCRIBE,” “CANCEL,” “END,” or “QUIT” to any message from Homelo. You will receive an immediate confirmation and no further marketing messages will be sent.

Our SMS program is designed to work with all major U.S. and Canadian carriers including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, Google Fi, Republic Wireless, Ting, Consumer Cellular, Xfinity Mobile, Spectrum Mobile, and regional carriers. 4.9 SMS Terms and Compliance

Homelo’s SMS messaging program across homelo.ai, pro.homelo.ai, and app.homelo.ai is operated in full compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), FCC regulations, CTIA guidelines, and mobile carrier requirements for Application-to-Person (A2P) messaging. We are committed to responsible messaging practices that respect user preferences and protect user privacy.

By participating in our SMS messaging program through any of our websites, you agree to receive text messages at the mobile phone number you provided, confirm that you are authorized to consent to messaging on behalf of the owner of that number, acknowledge that message and data rates may apply, understand that consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services, and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate our SMS messaging program at any time, although we will make reasonable efforts to notify active users of any significant changes.

The core purpose of our Services is to connect homeowners (who submit information at homelo.ai) with licensed real estate agents (who subscribe through pro.homelo.ai and manage leads through app.homelo.ai). When we deliver a qualified seller lead, we share:

  • Full name, email address, and phone number
  • Property address and characteristics (bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, condition, renovations)
  • Estimated property value generated by our valuation algorithms
  • Homeowner’s stated timeline and motivation for considering a sale
  • Additional notes collected during our qualification process
  • Date and time the homeowner submitted their information on homelo.ai

Exclusivity: Each seller lead is delivered exclusively to one real estate agent or brokerage. We do not share the same homeowner’s information with multiple agents. Once assigned through app.homelo.ai, a lead remains exclusive and will not be re-sold, re-distributed, or shared.

SMS Consent Is Not Shared: When we share homeowner contact information with real estate agents, we do NOT share, transfer, or convey the homeowner’s consent to receive SMS messages from Homelo. SMS consent collected on homelo.ai, pro.homelo.ai, or app.homelo.ai belongs exclusively to Homelo. Real estate agents must obtain separate, independent TCPA-compliant consent directly from homeowners before sending any SMS messages.

Agent Obligations: Agents and brokerages receiving leads are contractually required to use information only for providing real estate services, comply with all applicable laws, maintain confidentiality, and not share or resell lead information to any other parties.

5.2 Service Providers and Business Partners

  • SMS and Communication Service Providers: GoHighLevel and Twilio for SMS transmission across all three platforms. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for their own marketing or sharing it with any other parties.
  • Cloud Infrastructure and Data Storage Providers: Secure cloud computing services to host homelo.ai, pro.homelo.ai, and app.homelo.ai and store data.
  • Payment Processors: Third-party processors to handle credit card transactions and billing through app.homelo.ai.
  • CRM Systems: Software to manage user relationships, communications, and support records across our platforms.
  • Analytics and Marketing Tools: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and similar platforms to measure effectiveness and optimize marketing for all three websites.
